The Anniversary X International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians will be held in the Capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the city of Astana for the first time in 2017. The Competition will be organized by the Kazakh National University of Arts and the Association of Tchaikovsky Competition Stars.
Competition auditions will be held in the halls of the Kazakh National University of Arts. Opening & Closing Ceremonies, Third Round and Gala concert will be held in Astana’s best concert halls. Finalists will be accompanied by tree prominent symphony orchestras.

Hosting City: Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.
Competition dates: June 15–25, 2017 .
Sections: Piano, violin, cello.
Application deadline: April 25, 2017.
Age restrictions: The Competition is open for young musicians of any nationality born on or after June 15, 2000.
Opening Ceremony: June 15, 2017.
Awards & Closing Ceremonies: June 25, 2017.
